Some new things in the works

Hello!

If you are receiving this in your inbox it means you used to subscribe to my old Substack newsletter, which were irregular thoughts I had during the beginning of my transition and then a space where I could throw up some personal writings when I needed to scratch that itch.

I've now migrated to a new website through Ghost, under a new domain: sydney-bauer.com. Its been a long second half of this year, where I've been out of a job and going through a bit of some personal upheaval. So, now I realize is the time to take some initiative and putting myself back out there hoping to make some things happen in the new year. I've got a number of long term projects I've picked back up, but I miss regularly writing and its been tough landing pitches as many places are in budget crunches until January.

How often can you expect new works from me here? Well that depends on things. I plan on doing some light reported pieces here if I cannot find them a home, and if there is a major story that I feel its worth weighing in on I'll definitely throw it up here. Otherwise it'll be a hub for works that I've got going on and any other pertinent info.
